Each year the Chicago's Christmas Ship Committee hosts its VIP reception on the Friday evening before the Saturday Christmas Ship Event. Invited guests include - Captain and Executive Officer of USCGC MACKINAW, Coast Guard Guests and Local Dignitaries, our highly respected Partners, generous Sponsors and Donors.

Special awards are presented to those that help make this program possible each year.

This event is sponsored by in-kind donors and underwriters, in keeping with our mission of '100% of donated funds are spent only for tree purchase'.
